Sree Dattha Institute of Pharmacy is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) of Hyderabad and has received approvals from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and the Committee for the Purpose of Control And Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA). The institute has a well-established centre which is used for the experimentation on animals and this is done strictly as per the guidelines of CPCSEA and IAEC.
